中國食品網(wǎng) 歐盟再次評(píng)估果膠和酰胺化果膠作為食品添加劑的安全性

  據(jù)歐盟食品安全局(EFSA)消息,應(yīng)歐委會(huì)的要求,7月6日歐盟食品安全局再次評(píng)估了果膠和酰胺化果膠作為食品添加劑的安全性并發(fā)布意見。

  歐盟專家組經(jīng)過分析認(rèn)為,果膠(E 440i)和酰胺化果膠(E 440ii)作為普通食品的添加劑具有一定安全性,在目前的使用范圍和使用量下對(duì)人體沒有安全隱患,無需設(shè)置每日允許攝入量(ADI)。

  Following a request from the European Commission, the EFSA Panel on Food Additives and Nutrient sources added to Food (ANS) was asked to deliver a scientific opinion on the re-evaluation of pectin (E 440i) and amidated pectin (E 440ii) as food additives. An acceptable daily intake (ADI) 'not specified' was allocated by the Scientific Committee for Food (SCF) for E 440i and E 440ii. Pectin and amidated pectin would not be absorbed intact, but extensively fermented by intestinal microbiota in animals and humans; products formed from pectins in the gastrointestinal tract are similar to manufactured pectin-derived acidic oligosaccharides (pAOS)。
